Arusa, Darien Jungle, Panama 1974

ESTIBIN WAS THE TALK of the village; her husband Galigo, a native pastor, ran away with another woman and took the church’s coffer. A dance occurred during my visit; Esterbin arrived with an ecumenical treasure. To my delight, she paraded the estranged husband’s legacy and inspired envy from the gentle community.
